Like Vimpmeat before, MvM Dedicated is now going to be affiliated with GiantsWD on an official level. As a result, the following will be happening over the next three weeks:
• MvM Dedicated will become 'GiantsWD.com Dedicated'
• A page dedicated to GWD Dedicated rules and information will be created.
• GWD Dedicated player statistics will be integrated directly into GiantsWD.
• Tasiin will join the GiantsWD staff.
There's currently a live statistics page, hosted on another server, that lists ranks, kills, efficiency ratios, etc. on the MvM Dedicated server. I plan on adding a link to it on the main page when I revamp GiantsWD this summer, but until then you can view the stats page here.
Keeping with NEO's tradition of offering fresh content to the Giants community (Gangsta Kronikalz, being a prime example), we have created several new giants videos which have been added to the downloads database.
Also, for people who like toying around with the debug hack, I'm in the process of writing up a small document that outlines some of it's lesser known abilities.

I hope you enjoy my latest wallpapers to color the site for awhile. Soon I will be giving a brief update on what may help out the community's popularity in the future, as my job here at GWD is to promote Giants as much as possible, I have done alot since you last saw me. The GiantsWD administration has decided to expand it's support for the Macintosh version of Giants. This includes hosting files and tutorials specific to the Mac version, as well as creating a new board on the GWD forum specifically for the purpose of Mac Giants discussion.
If you own a copy of the Mac version of the game, feel free to submit any content you create.
Planet Moon Studios has mysteriously reversed its stance and is now willing to support the 1.5 patch. I have forwarded our request list from the forum for items to be included in 1.5 and they have replied with their preliminary patch notes:
March 31st (8:00 PST) - 1.5 Official Patch Notes
Balance *Ability to change default blaster with RPG
*Multi-kabuto support (kabutos no longer allowed to damage each other)
*Reaper spells have had damage reduced and the cluster spell can no longer be used against kabuto's "weak spot"
*Shielding "durability" has been cut in half. Players with full shield will no longer be able to survive 3+ rockets.
Additional Features *Auto-updater: Players can automatically download 1.5 from the PMS server
*GMM integration: Players can use a scrolling menu to select custom maps without the addition of 3rd party software
*IP banning w/ anti-trainer support
*Revamped dedicated program (fixed most crashes)
As a side note, we're sorry this has taken so long to release to the Giants community. We're doing our best to complete the patch given our timeframe and our estimated release date is March 7th. More information will be publicly released as we approach the patch release date.
